Charlie

Gray cat standing on a black shelf with a gray wall

Charlie is our athletic little ball of energy.  He rarely sits still unless he's asleep and once he's on the move, he doesn't know how to slow down.  He requires plenty of play to stay out of trouble - which means he eats a lot and is always begging for his favorite meal.

Two cats, one gray and one black and white, on a green cushion in a room.

Adding Charlie to our family gave Beebee the playmate she very much needed.  The two of them have spent a lot of time playing and snuggling over the years.  And while Beebee has mellowed out with age, Charlie has not.

He wreaks havoc - pouncing on the others, splashing water from the fountain,  and racing through the house to dive through the cat door and howl into the air like a wild animal.

He's always up to something and can't be trusted for a second. He's the reason for locked treat cabinet doors, catnip kept in sealed containers, and cups that can't be left unattended.

Despite his proclivities for chaos, he is quite entertaining and smart.  He was the first to learn what "cookies" meant and quickly trained the others to come running - whether we meant cat treats or human cookies.

Charlie has two speeds: 100 miles per hour and asleep.  He can be quite the lover when he's in the mood, especially if someone else is getting the attention he thinks he deserves.
