Ned

Cat sitting in a wicker basket on a wooden table with a home interior background

Ned is our round fluff ball, with striking green eyes and beautify face markings.  He has a nice round belly, stubby legs, and a long fluffy tail that are impossible to not love.

Cat lying on a carpeted floor with a scratching post.

Ned was the least fearful of The Three Amigos.  He was ready for pets from the very beginning and didn't need much coercing to come out of his shell.

Two cats, one gray laying on the floor and one orange laying on a blue chair.

He's clearly the leader of the bunch and from the start, it was clear; if Ned thought something or someone was safe,  the other two were a little more willing to trust it.

Ned rarely plays alone, but when he's in the mood and finds a jingle ball it's full steam ahead for noisy fun.  He will occasionally join Dusty and Lucky for a game of chase, usually as we're trying to drift off to sleep.

He loves pets anywhere, but getting them on the bed is his favorite. He'll meow loudly to lure us to follow him to the bedroom, chirping as he runs ahead, only to call again until we follow.  He will do this over and over until we reach the bedroom where he'll jump into bed and settle down for neck rubs.

Ned's favorite activity is sleep and he will do it anywhere - the bed, a chair, a box, a basket, or the floor.  He'll nap alone or snuggled up with us or his buddies.  It doesn't matter as long as he gets to close his eyes and dream away.

Scratching Matters

Scratching isn't a problem cat behavior. It's necessary for their overall health and wellbeing
