Product Dimensions
Jack's Scratcher is 18" long and each side of the scratcher measures 2.3" including the hinge.
The scratching surface measures approximately 17" long by 1.5" wide on each side.
Will it fit your door frame?
Jack's Scratcher is designed to fit standard interior door jambs measuring at least 2 inches deep, measured from the outside of the ridge that the door closes against (the doorstop).

How does it attach?
Jack's Scratcher is designed to mount to your door frame with screws, which means it stays exactly where you put it — no slipping, no sliding, no giving out after a few weeks. Installation takes just a few minutes and the result is a scratcher that holds firm through even the most enthusiastic scratching sessions.
What if I don't want to use screws?
We've had good results at home using 3M Command Picture Hanging Strips, and some of our customers have found success with other double-stick tape options. That said, we strongly recommend the screw method for the best hold — tape results can vary depending on your wall surface and paint, and some adhesives may damage trim or paint when removed. We can't guarantee performance with anything other than screws, but we wanted you to have options.
