Not sure which material to choose?
Don't worry about picking the wrong thing. If your cat doesn’t take to the material you selected, we'll let you exchange the unused inserts for a different material within 60 days. Just pay the price difference if there is one. Read our full Returns & Exchanges Policy here.
How to Swap
1. Remove
Remove the locking pins and slide the old inserts out.
2. Replace
Slide the new insert in and replace the locking pins.
3. Scratch
Refills in seconds so your cat doesn't miss a scratch.
Why Refillable Matters
We didn't make Jack's Scratcher refillable just to be clever. We did it because replacing an entire scratcher when the surface is worn out never made sense — especially when you go through them as fast as we do.
A worn-out scratcher is a good sign. It means your cat has been doing exactly what they're supposed to do. BUT it shouldn't mean adding more waste to our landfills.
Refillable means less waste, lower long-term cost, and the freedom to try a different material if you're curious.
